Stranger Things season 5 will be released on Netflix in three parts: Volume 1 on November 26, 2025, Volume 2 on December 25, 2025, and the finale on December 31, 2025. The final season consists of a total of eight episodes that will be released over this three-part schedule.

One of the single most well performing Netflix originals, is on board for their final season. Stranger Things, originally released in 2016, is getting its final season towards the end of 2025. The Stranger Things series, since 2016, has racked up a grand total of over one billion dollars, claiming its spot as one of the most outstandingly done Netflix originals out there.

Stranger Things season five is set to come out in volumes, splitting up the release date over the month of December. The dates are November 26, December 25, and December 31. Each episode of the season can be compared lengthwise to a stand alone film, with just about every episode being about an hour long.

The first volume of season five released back in November, and with that came the release of many public opinions. So far, Stranger Things has been said to be “okay”, with most opinions being that it is the best season of the five. Although, that does not mean everybody thought the show performed great, for one reason or another. Popular YouTuber, “Penguinz0” also known as “Charlie” made a YouTube video titled “Stranger Things season 5 isn’t amazing,” saying “One of the biggest criticisms around this show isn’t even really the quality of the show. It’s the time in between seasons,” explaining that he thinks the show is good, but rather the time each season took to produce–nearly over a 10 year span–is one of the flaws.

While every opinion is valid in its own way, it’s better to go off of your personal opinions, rather than what an influencer you may, or may not, like to watch. Think; keep your personal opinion as raw as possible.
