After finishing the season with winning records, the boys and girls bowling teams each made it to State for the 2023 season.

With a 13-2 record, the Oshkosh North girl’s bowling team ended up Division 8A, District 2 Champions this year.

The boys, with a 11-4 record overall,  3rd in our district. However, 3rd did not come very easily. After ending up tied with two other schools (Neenah and Appleton North), the boys won the roll off.

State was held during the weekend of March 3-5  in Weston, Wisconsin, and Oshkosh North had two qualifiers: senior Samantha Brown, who finished in first place for girl’s, and senior Peter Blank, who finished in 10th in the boys district.

The girls team also earned an alternate, junior Cheyenne Daughterty, who took 7th.

If you are interested in joining the bowling team next September, look for an Excel meeting and sign up.

“It is a good time!” says coach Christine Lemay.
