Oshkosh North beats Appleton East for first homecoming win in 6 years

For the first time in six years, the Oshkosh North varsity football team celebrated a victory on Homecoming night.

The Spartans defeated the Appleton East, 20-14, after making a last-second goalline stand. With under two minutes left in the game, the Patriots drove down to Spartans’ five-yard line and ran several plays before the clock expired. However, the Spartans’ Dayshawn Henry stopped them short of what could have been a game-winning touchdown with the extra point.
