Leadership Class to hold Blood Drive on Friday, May 5

Sahar Karim, Writer

Oshkosh North High School leadership class will hold a blood donation drive on Friday, May 5 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Anyone aged 16 or above can donate blood. Those aged 16 need a permission slip to donate blood. There is free food for all the donors.

The main goal of the blood drive is to save lives of people who need that blood to survive. One pint of blood can save three precious lives. One pint of blood can save lives of people who have been through an accident, are going through a disease and need blood or their bodies can’t make the amount of blood they need to survive.

If you are someone who doesn’t need donated blood to survive, and are capable of donating blood, please do so. The Leadership students are visiting classes to sign up students for the blood drive. If they don’t get to come to one of your classes, please come see Mr. Griffith in room 103 to sign up.

Donating blood is not only helping save lives; it’s also serving humanity.
